Advocating that science and technology drives national prosperity, the Foundation promotes the development of young scientists and the learning of science among children in partnership with Ministry of Education of the People's Repubic of China and China Association for Science & Technology (CAST).

The Ministry of Education of the People's Repubic of China and the Foundation have jointly established the "Future Scientists of Tomorrow" reward scheme since 2001. As of July 2011, the Foundation has contributed RMB25 million to reward youths and their respective schools for demonstrating scientific and technological excellence, encouraging little scientists to develop a passion for science, for learning science, for applying science. At the same time, the reward scheme urges schools to shift their focus onto a well-rounded, quality education.
